In the past few days, California has seen excessive rainfall. The Santa Maria area, a year-round vegetable growing region, received between 3 and 5 inches of rain in a short amount of time. These pictures show some of Babé Farms' field that are currently planted. “We grow most of our items year-round, so everything from root vegetables to baby lettuces, to specialty greens are currently in the ground,” says Matt Hiltner with the company.
