Mango supplies, which have been fairly tight recently, are starting to see greater volumes come onto the market. “There's plenty of yellow fruit out there right now and there's plenty of reds starting to come in,” says Gary Clevenger of Freska Produce, noting these are Honey mangoes and Tommy Atkins. “There's also more large fruit. That was really tight for a couple of weeks and we're seeing more of those coming in.” Particularly size 10s and 12s which in turn will be the promotable sizes for the next few weeks....
