Pommes Allemagne : La récolte 2023 n’a pas atteint ses objectifs

Apples continue to be by far the most harvested tree fruit in Germany. However, the apple harvest in 2023 fell short of the usual 1 million ton mark achieved in recent years. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), based on final harvest results, approximately 941,200 tons of apples were harvested, which is about 129,800 tons or 12.1% less than in the high-yielding year 2022 (1.1 million tons). Compared to the average of the years 2013 to 2022, the apple harvest was about 39,900 tons or 4.1% lower.... Agrumes UE : Panique face aux importations égyptiennes

The Valencian Association of Agricultural Producers (AVA-ASAJA) has issued a message aiming to prevent panic in the citrus sector in the face of the imports of Egyptian oranges into the European market. The agricultural organization said that the news published in the media and the fewer number of buying and selling operations taking place in recent days are "raising concerns" among Valencian producers, but is urging them to "stay calm, based on objective arguments in the current citrus campaign."... Tomates Maroc : Moins de tomates arrivent en UE

Almeria's vegetable prices ended in 2023 following the same growing trend that has been recorded since the end of November. Tomato prices experienced a small drop because, according to Julián Rodríguez García, a farmer from La Cañada, there wasn't enough transport available to get the product out on the days of Christmas. However, despite a slight decrease in its price, in week 51, branch tomato and pear tomato prices increased by up to 200% and 82%, respectively, over the previous season, according to the Price Observatory of the Junta de Andalucía....
